If you find a neutral space, aka not a hotel or banquet hall, perhaps you can make it barn like with certain elements such as the chairs and floral. I considered having out wedding at a vineyard for a hot second until I realized I'd have to rent everything, tables, chairs, dinnerware. it was too much for us but I agree, it's your day. enjoy!perfect boundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07948957884002089406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7900358172999203944.post-88066309308070657012008-06-16T13:14:00.000-07:002008-06-16T13:14:00.000-07:00Hi There, R u thinking of Crossroads at Firestone ...Hi There, R u thinking of Crossroads at Firestone Ranch. I really wanted to have my wedding there as well but decided that it would be too expensive. I am having it at the SB mission and Rockwood, SB women's club. I also visited Euc Lane, what a great space. Too bad its not off some dirt road. Oh, well if you have not checked out Crossroads, do so now, they book up quickly. And honestly I am spending just as much as they wanted for their rental fee when it comes to the church fees and Rockwood's fees. They have a really nice facility and if you want rustic chic and a barn. It's perfect! Good luck with the BAR, my fiance graduated from UC Davis Law and still does not have a job, but passed the BAR on the first try. He is class of 07. Good luck, I know how difficult it is, not first hand but i totally know what ur going thru. Good Luck!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7900358172999203944.post-3423276729116263302008-06-14T21:58:00.000-07:002008-06-14T21:58:00.000-07:00Hi there, recently found your blog and have been e...Hi there, recently found your blog and have been enjoying it. I just linked to you from mine. http://sundrenchedmoments.blogspot.com/2008/06/look.html have a good rest of your weekend!

we're having our wedding in an old structure, not a barn exactly but lots of original wood floors, beams, etc. It's not the simplest thing renting in all of the tables and chairs, etc., etc., etc. but every time I go into it I'm certain that it's just right for us and our family and friends and I'm so excited about it! Seriously, why even wonder if other people wouldn't like it, it's not their wedding! I love the idea, and if the costs can work, then go for it!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7900358172999203944.post-25385045975608503362008-06-13T07:51:00.000-07:002008-06-13T07:51:00.000-07:00I was seriously considering this old restored loft...I was seriously considering this old restored loft/barn space for awhile, and I had to abandon the idea because it was just getting to expensive. Who knew that rustic goodness would be so expensive?Jennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15820415812018249417noreply@blogger.com
